Common use of Broker Requirements Clause in Contracts

Broker Requirements. BROKER warrants that it is licensed to arrange for the transportation of freight pursuant to license number MC-_____________ , but that it does not transport freight, and that it will maintain such authority as required by all applicable federal and state laws and regulations throughout the course of this Agreement. BROKER also warrants that it will maintain a surety bond or trust fund agreement as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in the amount of $75,000.00 or in such amount as may be amended from time to time and furnish CARRIER with proof of same upon request.
