Schedule Requirements. Contractor shall submit electronic and paper copy of the initial Work Progress Schedule reflecting accurate and reliable representations of the planned progress of the Work, the Work to date if any, and of Contractor’s actual plans for its completion. Contractor shall organize and provide adequate detail, so the schedule is capable of measuring and forecasting the effect of delaying events on completed and uncompleted activities.
.1 Contractor shall resubmit initial schedule as required to address review comments from Architect and Owner until such schedule is accepted as the Baseline Schedule.
.2 Submittal of a schedule, schedule revision or schedule update constitutes Contractor’s representation to Owner of the accurate depiction of all progress to date and that Contractor will follow the schedule as submitted in performing the Work.

9.3.1.1 The Contractor shall re-submit initial Schedule as required to address review comments from A/E and ODR until such Schedule is accepted as the Baseline Schedule.
9.3.1.2 Submittal of a schedule, schedule revision or schedule update constitutes the Contractor’s representation to the Owner of the accurate depiction of all progress to date and that the Contractor will follow the schedule as submitted in performing the Work.

The construction of the project shall be planned and recorded with a conventional critical path method (CPM) schedule in the form of an activity on node diagram based on the principles defined by the most recent issue of the Construction Planning & Scheduling Manual published by the Associated General Contractors of America. An activity on arrow diagram or Xxxxx chart may be used in conjunction with a CPM, if approved by the Engineer. The schedule shall be used by the Contractor for coordination and monitoring of all work under the contract including all activities of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. The cost of preparing the CPM schedule, including updating monthly shall be included in the total amount bid for all contract items.

Employees in Exempt positions are expected to work the hours necessary to complete assignments on a schedule that satisfies the requirements of the job. A full-time commitment typically requires a minimum of eighty (80) hours per bi-weekly payroll period. Although not required and not an entitlement, a limited amount of Compensatory Leave may be granted, with the prior written approval of the Director, University Human Resources. Compensatory Leave shall be used within one (1) year from the date it is earned. Use of Compensatory Leave is subject to the advance approval of the employee’s supervisor, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. No compensation shall be paid for Compensatory Leave that is unused at the time the employee leaves University service except that if an employee has been denied use of Compensatory Leave due to work demands within the last four (4) months prior to separation, the employee shall be paid for up to twenty (20) hours of such denied Compensatory Leave. Such leave shall not be restored upon reinstatement. Supervisors are expected to establish a reasonable work week for each Exempt employee. The workweek is to be communicated in writing to each Exempt staff member. Where verifiable practices of flexible scheduling already exist they shall continue.
Schedule Requirements. (a) Subject to Article 7.04(a), work schedules shall provide for:
(i) at least ten (10) hours off duty between the cessation of work on one day and the commencement of work on the next day;
(ii) two (2) consecutive days of rest without pay;
(iii) days of rest on as many weekends as possible but not less than two (2) weekends in a four (4) week period. Weekend shall mean Saturday and the following Sunday;
(iv) not more than six (6) consecutive scheduled days of work.
(b) When an Employee is required to work with less than ten (10) hours off between workdays, she shall be paid at the overtime rate of two times (2X) of her basic rate of pay for all hours worked during the ten (10) hour period.

The Contractor shall, within 30 calendar days after the award, submit a complete Schedule of Operations to the Engineer, fully describing the intended progress of the work and showing in detail how the work will be completed within the time limit specified in the contract, including completion of the intermediate phases as required to provide the number of open traffic lanes specified by the dates specified. This submission shall be in electronic format created using the latest version of the project scheduling software required as part of the Engineer’s Office computer system. Additionally, a PERT chart styled hard copy printout shall also be provided to the Engineer. The purpose of this requirement is to insure adequate planning and execution of the work. A Pre-Award and/or a Pre-Construction meeting will be held with the successful low bidder. At this meeting, it is expected that the successful low bidder will furnish, and be prepared to discuss, their complete Schedule of Operations, in CPM format. While not fulfilling Mobilization Item requirements, a 60 calendar day, preliminary schedule of proposed Contractor activities may be submitted at this meeting to enable the beginning of Contract work preparation such as material orders, preparation of working drawings, and mobilization of equipment while the CPM schedule is being prepared. The Contractor’s Schedule will be used by the Engineer for coordinating Thruway Operations, evaluating progress of the work, comparing the work performed to the Contract time and phasing requirements, monitoring and coordinating the work of all related contracts, and to assign necessary resources for inspection and administration of the contract. Schedule Requirements. All schedules provided by Contractor must (i) be suitable for monitoring the progress of the Work, (ii) provide necessary data about the timing for Owner decisions, and all Owner milestones and commitments, and (iii) be in sufficient detail to demonstrate adequate planning for and completion of the Work.
