A building substitute shall be defined as an individual who is selected, after a posting and interview process, to serve as a substitute teacher in a specific elementary school or in a specific small school or department at the high school, to provide classroom coverage for absent teachers in more than one classroom for a period of thirty (30) consecutive days or more during a school year.
