Common use of Cabling Service Clause in Contracts

Cabling Service. 11.1. Cabling service is only offered to Customers with a combo of TELUS Services. 11.2. Before a TELUS technician is dispatched, TELUS may require the Customer to conduct tests using two different devices. 11.3. The following items are not covered by the cabling service: 11.3.1. Deliberate damage or damage caused by negligence, vandalism or deliberate cutting of the cables; 11.3.2. Damage caused by force majeure; 11.3.3. Repairs or attempted repairs by someone other than the manufacturer or authorized TELUS personnel; 11.3.4. Dangerous or illegal repairs or replacements of jacks and cabling; 11.3.5. Repairs or replacements of jacks or cabling outside the home or building; 11.3.6. Repair or replacement of terminal equipment (telephone device, set-top box, modem, etc.); 11.3.7. New installations, rearrangements, and addition of jacks and extra cabling; 11.3.8. Items reasonably deemed by TELUS to be excluded due to cabling age or end of useful life. 11.4. Charges for the visit and repair will be billed based on current time and material prices for any item not covered.

Items reasonably deemed by TELUS to be excluded due to cabling age or end of useful life. 11.410.4. Charges for the visit and repair will be billed based on current time and material prices for any item not covered.
