Calculating Time. If anything is permitted or required to be done: (a) a number of days or Business Days before a specified date, the date by which that thing may or must be done is to be calculated excluding the specified date; Example: if the Settlement Date falls on a Friday, 2 days before the Settlement Date is Wednesday. (b) at least" a number of days or Business Days before a specified date or a clear number of days or Business Days before a specified date, the date by which that thing may or must be done is to be calculated excluding the specified date and excluding the day on which the thing may or must be done; Example: if the Settlement Date falls on a Friday, at least 2 days before the Settlement Date or 2 clear days before the Settlement Date is Tuesday. (c) a number of days or Business Days after a specified date, the date by which that thing may or must be done is to be calculated excluding the specified date. Example: if the Contract Date falls on a Monday, 2 days after the Contract Date is Wednesday.
