Call Back Minimum. Employees called to work during scheduled off-duty hours shall be compensated in the form of compensatory time off at the rate of one and one-half (1½) hours for each hour worked with a minimum of four (4) hours' compensatory time off earned for each such call to work. The minimum of four (4) hours shall not apply when such a call to work is an extension of or early report to a scheduled shift. This provision shall not apply to situations arising out of Section 9.5, Temporary Change in Shifts.

Call Back Minimum. Workers required to report back to work during off-duty hours shall be compensated for a minimum of 3 hours of overtime.
Call Back Minimum. Employees who are required to come back to work after and/or before their regular scheduled hours shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for each extra hour worked or four (4) hours of straight time wages; whichever is greater.

Regular full-time and regular part-time employees shall be eligible for a four (4) hour call-back minimum when the call back is for an unscheduled event that occurs more than two (2) hours after the end of the shift and within nine (9) hours of their assigned end of shift except as provided in Section XV.A above. Said employees shall receive, upon reporting a minimum of four (4) hours of work at the overtime rate, or if four (4) hours of work are not actually worked, a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the overtime rate. 2. Regular full-time and regular part-time employees who are called back to work for a planned event which is scheduled at least 24 hours in advance shall receive, upon reporting, a minimum of two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate, or if two (2) hours of work are not actually worked, a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the overtime rate. 3. The above call-back provision does not relate to official court appearances. Such court appearances shall be compensated as provided in this M.O.U. 4. A “call-back” occurs when an employee is required to return to his or her normal work location, or to travel to another work location at the direction of the city. A “call-back” does not occur when an employee handles a phone call at home or is otherwise not required to physically leave his or her residence. In such situations, the employee shall be compensated for any time actually worked at the overtime rate, but will not be entitled to the call-back minimum. 5. All of the following conditions must be present before a Detective may be called from off duty: a. The crime must be one ordinarily assigned to the Detective Division for investigation. b. There must be some urgency which requires immediate detective participation. c. There must be specific tasks to be performed or specific leads to be followed up which by their nature require the detective's expertise. d. The patrol supervisor must approve the call-out. e. The detective assigned to the type of crime in question shall be called out, if the above conditions are present. If that detective is not available, any detective who can respond shall be called out.

Call Back Minimum. When it is necessary to call-back any employee, the employee shall be paid on an overtime basis for a minimum of two (2) hours, even if the employee actually worked less than two (2) hours. If a call-back exceeds two (2) hours, the employee shall be paid for the time actually worked. It is further presumed that there will be no overlapping of premiums in that if an employee works less than two (2) hours on the initial call-back and then is called back on a second time during the initial two hour period, he/she will not be entitled to additional overtime pay unless the total time worked for both call-backs exceeds two (2) hours. In such cases, the employee shall be paid for the total hours worked. Nothing in subparagraph D above alters the County’s obligations pursuant to this subparagraph.
Call Back Minimum. An employee (shift or non-shift) who is called to work on other than their regular work shift, shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate for the actual hours worked with a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate overtime rate.
