Common use of Call in Errors Clause in Contracts

Call in Errors. Should the City inadvertently call in the wrong employee(s), the City will rectify such mistake by providing the employee(s) an opportunity to work the hours missed. The work must be arranged during either first or second shift hours, occur within 3 to 6 months of the date of the mistake, be at the same overtime rate as the missed opportunity, and equal the same number of hours. The City will apply the appropriate overtime rate (i.e., time and one half or double time) to the hours worked. Employees will be responsible for making arrangements with the appropriate Division Director so the hours can be scheduled and appropriate work identified.
