Common use of Callback Overtime Clause in Contracts

Callback Overtime. Callback Overtime shall be paid on a time and one-half (1½) basis. Callback Overtime, including the two (2) hour minimum, shall if: a. The Employee is officially ordered to return to work on a day when no work was scheduled; b. The Employee is “called back” to work with less than twelve (12) hours’ notice and more than thirty (30) minutes before employee’s regularly scheduled work; or, c. The Employee is officially ordered to return to work more than thirty (30) minutes after employee’s regularly scheduled work. Callback Overtime shall not apply if the Employee is ordered to report to work while on Stand-By Duty.
