Cancellation of Calls/Weather Permitting Calls. (a) The Company may cancel calls for Employees working on a daily basis up to 8:00 p.m. (2000 hours) of the day prior to the starting time of the call. In the event that such notice is not given, the Company shall pay the Employee one day’s pay at the basic rate.

  • Violations, Suspensions, and Cancellation If PURCHASER violates any of the provisions of this contract, STATE may, after giving written notice, suspend any further operations of PURCHASER under this contract, except those operations necessary to remedy any violations. If PURCHASER fails to remedy a violation within the time allowed and as instructed by STATE, or if PURCHASER fails to complete work as required within any interim contract completion date or the contract expiration date, PURCHASER is in breach, and STATE may place the contract in default status as provided in OAR 629-032-0000 through 0070. Any default action taken by STATE shall be subject to the provisions of OAR 629-032-0000 through 0070 as adopted at present and as may be amended later by the agency having jurisdiction or authority over such activities. The provisions of such rules or any future amendments are incorporated into this contract and made a permanent part hereof by their reference as though fully set forth herein. The provisions are in addition to, not in lieu of, any other remedies STATE may have for breach of the contract.

  • Cancellation of Orders If payment for shares purchased is not received within the time customary or the time required by law for such payment, the sale may be canceled without notice or demand, and neither FTDI nor the Fund(s) shall have any responsibility or liability for such a cancellation; alternatively, at FTDI's option, the unpaid shares may be sold back to the Fund, and Bank shall be liable for any resulting loss to FTDI or to the Fund(s).   • Cancellation of the Contract You are responsible for paying the full Contract Rate for the entire Contract Period, unless the Contract is canceled in accordance with one of the provisions below. Depending on when and how the Contract is canceled, you may owe the University a Cancellation Fee. The “Cancellation Fee” charged by the University constitutes an amount that will compensate the University for the costs it will incur and/or losses it will suffer as a result of your cancellation, which costs and losses are difficult to quantify. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.

  • Service Cancellation You may cancel the EM Service at any time by providing us thirty (30) calendar days prior written notice. In the event you wish to cancel your EM Service, you may do so by calling 0-000-000-0000 if associated with Basic Internet Service or 0-000-000-0000 for Fios Service. If you cancel during your Term Plan, you agree to pay us: (a) all Service fees accrued as of the cancellation date and (b) a termination charge equal to thirty-five percent (35%) of the applicable monthly rate times the number of months remaining in your Term Plan.
