Common use of Cancellation of Event Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Event. A. XXXX reserves the right to cancel Event due to circumstances beyond NYLA’s control or not reasonably anticipated by XXXX, including but not limited, to acts of God, acts of war, governmental emergency, imposition of martial law, labor strike or unrest, or inability of Facility to host Event. B. If Event is cancelled pursuant to subsection (A), XXXX shall refund to Exhibitor all rental payments advanced for booth space, minus a share of costs and expenses incurred by XXXX prior to cancellation. Such refund shall release XXXX and Facility from any and all liabilities due to cancellation.
