Common use of Cancellation or Expiration of the Order Clause in Contracts

Cancellation or Expiration of the Order. If a stop performance order issued under this section is cancelled at any time during the period specified in the order, or if the period of the order or any extension thereof expires, the CONTRACTOR shall have the right to resume performance. An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or Agreement price, or both, and the Agreement shall be modified in writing accordingly, if: (1) The stop performance order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the CONTRACTOR's cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this Agreement; and (2) The CONTRACTOR asserts a claim for such an adjustment within THIRTY
