Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Professional Industry Teacher Horizontal Salary Placement. A. College hours used for column placement may have been earned before or after journeyman training, but may not have been earned as a part of a 36-month journeyman training period, or its equivalent. B. Teachers shall be given horizontal placement according to the following criteria: 1. BA+30=30 hours from any college, university, or approved district in- service courses. 2. MA=45 hours from any college, university, or approved district in- service courses. 3. BA+75/MA+24=75 hours from any college, university, or approved district in-service courses. 4. BA+105/MA+45=105 hours from any college, university, or approved district in-service courses.
