Children and minors If you are under 18 years old, then by entering into this Agreement you explicitly stipulate that (i) you have legal capacity to conclude this Agreement or that you have valid consent from a parent or legal guardian to do so and (ii) you understand the JetBrains Privacy Policy. SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 8.1 The Service Provider will have ultimate responsibility for the management and control of any Regulated Activity provided under this agreement and for the purposes of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Xxx 0000.
Promotion and Admission (1) Each Contracting Party shall, in its State territory, promote as far as possible investments by investors of the other Contracting Party and admit such investments in accordance with its national laws and regulations.
Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.
Abuse and Neglect of Children and Vulnerable Adults: Abuse Registry Party agrees not to employ any individual, to use any volunteer or other service provider, or to otherwise provide reimbursement to any individual who in the performance of services connected with this agreement provides care, custody, treatment, transportation, or supervision to children or to vulnerable adults if there has been a substantiation of abuse or neglect or exploitation involving that individual. Party is responsible for confirming as to each individual having such contact with children or vulnerable adults the non-existence of a substantiated allegation of abuse, neglect or exploitation by verifying that fact though (a) as to vulnerable adults, the Adult Abuse Registry maintained by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and (b) as to children, the Central Child Protection Registry (unless the Party holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families). See 33 V.S.A. §4919(a)(3) and 33 V.S.A. §6911(c)(3).
After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by an LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust. Education and Outreach Health Education Advisory Committee The PH-MCO must develop and implement effective Member education and outreach programs that may include health education programs focusing on the leading causes of hospitalization and emergency room use, and health initiatives that target Members with Special Needs, including but not limited to: HIV/AIDS, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Dual Eligibles, etc. The PH-MCO must establish and maintain a Health Education Advisory Committee that includes Members and Providers of the community to advise on the health education needs of HealthChoices Members. Representation on this Committee must include, but not be limited to, women, minorities, persons with Special Needs and at least one (1) person with expertise on the medical needs of children with Special Needs. Provider representation includes physical health, behavioral health, and dental health Providers. The PH-MCO must provide the Department annually with the membership (including designation) and meeting schedule of the Health Education Advisory Committee. The PH-MCO must provide for and document coordination of health education materials, activities and programs with public health entities, particularly as they relate to public health priorities and population-based interventions that are relevant to the populations being served and that take into consideration the ability of these populations to understand and act upon health information. The PH- MCO must also work with the Department to ensure that its Health Education Advisory Committees are provided with an effective means to consult with each other and, when appropriate, coordinate efforts and resources for the benefit of the entire HealthChoices population in the HC Zone and/or populations with Special Needs. The PH-MCO must provide the Department with a written description of all planned health education activities and targeted implementation dates on an annual basis.
Assistance and Cooperation After the Closing Date, each of Seller and Purchaser shall:
Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.
Information Technologies Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in Information Technologies sectors, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to focus on cooperative activities towards information technology areas where mutual and complementary interests exists; and (b) to build on existing agreements and arrangements already in place between the Parties. 2. Information Technologies cooperation may include, but not be limited to: (a) scientific and technical cooperation for the Software Industry of the Parties and encouraging cooperation in software development for populations with specific needs; (b) facilitate the cooperation on academic, industrial and entrepreneurial networks in the area of Information Technology; (c) encouraging exchange of experience on management and research and development for Information Technology Parks; (d) research and development on Information Technology products and services, integrating television, multimedia, and cellular telephones; and (e) encouraging exchange of experience for research and development in networks and telecommunications.
