Common use of CARRIER DETERMINATION Clause in Contracts

CARRIER DETERMINATION. In all cases, the Board shall have the right to approve the carrier and the contract for a group life insurance plan, a medical extended health care plan and a dental plan contemplated by these provisions. It is understood that the Board shall have the right to select a plan at a lower cost provided that the benefits are not substantially altered from those offered as of the signing date of this contract. The Board will consult with the Association prior to selecting any new insurance carrier for the benefits provided under this Article.
