Common use of CARRY ON SERVICES Clause in Contracts

CARRY ON SERVICES. It is agreed that so far as practicable, Local Agreement will be made to carry on services without additional expense to the Hotel Management while employees are on vacation. When, however, such arrangements are not practicable, employees temporarily promoted to provide vacation relief shall, if definitely assigned the duties and responsibilities of the position, be paid the rate of pay applicable to such position.
