Cash Receipts Journal. A Cash Receipts Journal shall be maintained for recording all cash receipts (e.g., COUNTY warrants, contributions, interest income, etc.). The Cash Receipts Journal shall contain (minimum requirements) the following column headings:  Date  Receipt Number  Cash Debit Columns  Income Credit Columns (for the following accounts): - COUNTY payments (one per funding source) - Contributions - Other Income (Grants, sales of supplies/services, rental income, miscellaneous revenue, fees, etc.) - Description (entries in the description column must specify the source of cash receipts.)
