Challenge of Proposed Discipline (Other. Than Suspension or Dismissal) 9.2.1 If, pursuant to Article 9.1, the Initiating Administrator proposes discipline (other than suspension or dismissal) of a Faculty Member, the Faculty Member may challenge the validity of the charges and/or the severity of the proposed discipline and/or may allege that proper disciplinary procedures were not followed. To access the formal grievance procedure, mediation must be completed or waived, per Article 8.2.5.
