Common use of Change Directive Clause in Contracts

Change Directive. 50.1 The Owner may issue a Change Directive to the Design-Builder directing the Design-Builder to proceed with a Change. The Design-Builder will proceed with the Change and the valuation and adjustments to the Contract Price and the Contract Time will be made as soon as reasonably possible after the implementation of the Change in the same manner as a Change for which a Change Order would be issued under this Agreement. 50.2 The Owner may issue Change Directives at any time, including prior to commencing the process for a Change Order or if there is a Dispute in relation to a Change or Change Order (including a Dispute as to whether there is a Change).
