Common use of Change of PCP Clause in Contracts

Change of PCP. The Contractor must allow enrollees to select or be assigned to a new PCP when requested by the enrollee, when the Contractor has terminated a PCP, or when a PCP change is ordered as a part of the resolution to a formal grievance proceeding. When an enrollee changes his or her PCP, the Contractor must make the enrollee’s medical records or copies thereof available to the new PCP within ten (10) business days from receipt of request.
