Common use of Change of Shift Hours Clause in Contracts

Change of Shift Hours. Any employee involved in a mandatory change of shift which involves a change in shift starting time of ten (10) or more hours will be given a minimum of at least four (4) days notice. These provisions may be waived in emergency situations as determined by the Police Chief or his/her designated authority.
