Changes in Doubletree Directors. (a) The Doubletree Holders may designate the individual to fill any vacancy on the Board resulting from the death, resignation or removal of any Doubletree Director by giving written notice to Candlewood (which shall promptly forward a copy of such notice to each Holder). Within not more than 10 days after the notice described in the preceding sentence is so forwarded, the Holders will use their best efforts to cause the election to the Board of the nominee named in such notice.
