Common use of Changes Performed by Subcontractor Clause in Contracts

Changes Performed by Subcontractor. In the event of changes to the work, which changes must be authorized by District in writing and in advance, the markup for all overhead, including home office overhead, field office overhead, and general conditions costs, and profit shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the direct actual costs for performance of the change if such change is performed by Contractor and Contractor’s subcontractor(s), or solely by subcontractor(s). The foregoing limitation on markup shall apply regardless of the number of subcontractors, of any tier, performing any portion of such change.
