Common use of Charge for Detention Division Meals Clause in Contracts

Charge for Detention Division Meals. Personnel represented by the DSA and permanently assigned to the Detention Division will have fifteen dollars ($15) per month deducted from their pay checks in exchange for meals provided by the Department. The employee may choose not to eat facility food. In that case no fees will be deducted.

Charge for Detention Division Meals. Personnel represented by the DSA and permanently assigned to the Detention Division will have fifteen dollars ($1515.00) per month deducted from their pay checks in exchange for meals provided by the Department. The employee may choose not to eat facility food. In that case no fees will be deducted. Employees will indicate their option upon transfer into the Detention Division and, during the month of January each year, employees may make a new determination. Current Detention employees will have the month following ratification of the contract to exercise their option.
