Check Airman Status. (1) Check Airman positions are divided into two status types which consists of the following elements: (2) The following procedures shall apply to the displacement of Captain Check Airmen: (a) Check Airmen in each status will be ranked by Check Airman longevity in category. (b) Prior to resolving a surplus in a given status, the Company may move Check Airmen from one status to another (e.g., from base to base, from equipment to equipment, from L-Type to X-Type and X-Type to L Type). (c) If a surplus still exists, the Company will proffer any existing vacancy(s) to Check Airmen within the status where a surplus exists. (d) If there are no proffers for the vacancy(s), the Company will proffer a return to the line within the status where a surplus exists. (e) If there are no proffers for return to the line, the Company will, within the status where a surplus exists, return the surplus Check Airmen to the line in reverse order of Check Airman longevity in category. (3) Check Airmen returning to the line will not have reinstatement rights to a Check Airman position.

  • Pay Status An aggrieved employee and the Union Delegate shall be in a pay status during those working hours in which a grievance, a grievance mediation, or an arbitration hearing is held. Release time for additional employee representation shall be subject to approval by the Labor Relations Officer or designee when a group grievance is filed.

  • Company Status The Company is a corporation duly formed and validly existing under the general laws of the State of Maryland, with all requisite power and authority to enter into this Agreement and to carry out its obligations hereunder.

  • S Corporation Status The Company and Seller shall not revoke the Company’s election to be taxed as an S corporation within the meaning of Code § 1361 and § 1362. The Company and Sellers shall not take or allow any action that would result in the termination of the Company’s status as a validly electing S corporation within the meaning of Code § 1361 and § 1362.

  • Probationary Status This article shall not apply to an employee in probationary status who shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such probationary appointment.

  • At-Will Status Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement, Executive is employed at-will, such that Executive or the Bank may terminate Executive’s employment at any time, with or without notice, for any or no reason.
