News reports have recently noted instances of rogue Apps being submitted to the various mobile market sites (particularly the Android Market). These apps masquerade as legitimate financial institution apps and trick users into supplying account information in order to perpetrate fraud. We suggest educating yourself about these threats. Many of the same precautions should be taken to protect mobile as for desktop computers. Devices should be password protected and programs should only be downloaded and installed from trusted sources. Cached Check Images – Images captured are only stored on the phone until they complete the submission of their deposit. When a user launches DeposZip Mobile without authenticating themselves through the mobile banking program, they will access the App in ‘offline’ mode. While in offline mode the user is able to snap photos of their check or item or from any inaccurate information you supply regarding for submission later. In this instance the images that the user has captured are stored within the App until the next time they authenticate and submit the check for deposit. While the program is designed to remove the check image upon submission, It is the end user's responsibility to ensure that no residual image remains on the device and if said image is used for any purpose other than intended, user will hold harmless GenFed Financial Credit Union for any losses incurred. The image quality of the check must comply with the requirements established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, including the requirements under Regulation CC, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. The image may be rejected for quality purposes if it does not meet the criteria set forth in this Agreement. You agree that we shall not be liable for any damages resulting from a check or item’s poor image quality, including those related to rejection of or delayed or improper crediting of such check or item or from any inaccurate information you supply regarding the check or item.

E-mail Address. I agree to notify you immediately if I change my e-mail address, as this is the e-mail address where you will send me notification of receipt of remote deposit items.
