Chemical industry. The chemical industry has developed a pipeline of potential capital- intensive projects with a varying degree of certainty in terms of proceeding to investment stage. The total investment over the next five years is estimated at R10 billion. A number of potential constraints to the successful implementation of investment projects have been identified.   • Chemical Dependency Alcoholism and drug addiction shall be recognized as an illness.
