Common use of Chief Health and Safety Representatives Clause in Contracts

Chief Health and Safety Representatives. The Chief Health and Safety Representative and the Department Manager will discuss the appropriate amount of time, as well as the appropriate scheduling of such time, for the Chief Representative to attend to matters of Health and Safety within his/her Department. The Manager will not unreasonably withhold approval of the required time. Any unresolved disputes with respect to this provision shall be referred to the Joint Health and Safety Committee. The department Manager will provide the Chief Health and Safety Representative a location for the purpose of writing reports.
