Child/Adult Ratio. The Employer and the Union agree that a reasonable ratio of adults to children in a Day Care Centre is essential if the children's physical, intellectual and emotional needs and potentials are to be given proper attention. Therefore, the Employer agrees that the child/adult ratio shall not fall below the minimum established by the Child Care and Early Years Act or its successor. In the case of home day care, the ratio of day care homes to home visitor shall not exceed 25 to 1.
