Health and Safety Grievance. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation of this Article occurs, it shall be subject to the grievance procedure.

Health and Safety Grievance. Step 2 a. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision rendered by his/her supervisor pursuant to section 6.7 of this article, the grievant may appeal the decision within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the decision to a designated supervisor or manager identified by each department as the second (2nd) level of appeal. b. Within five (5) calendar days after receipt of the appealed grievance, the person designated by the department head as the second (2nd) level of appeal shall respond in writing to the grievance.

This Article does not relieve employees of their responsibility to comply with applicable Health and Safety policies on the reporting of incidents/accidents.
