City Contribution to PERS. The City shall pay directly to PERS twenty one hundred and twenty-eight dollars ($20.00128.00) per month as a contribution towards toward the PEMHCA plan medical insurance premium for each active unit member and retired unit member retiree who elects to enroll in a PHEMCA PEMHCA medical plan. As required by Government Code Section 22892, the City’s contribution shall be $128.00 per month. These increased City contribution rates shall remain in effect only as long as required by law.
