Common use of City Investigation Clause in Contracts

City Investigation. City shall conduct an investigation, upon receiving written notice from JOC regarding differing or unknown physical conditions at the Work site. If City finds that the conditions materially do differ and cause an increase or decrease in JOC’s cost of or the time required for performing any part of the Work, City shall make an equitable adjustment in the price to be paid to JOC and the issued Job Order shall be modified in writing to reflect said equitable adjustment.
