City Manager Review. 1. Upon receiving the grievance, the City Manager or his/her designated representative shall discuss the grievance with the employee, and the employee’s representative, if any, and with all other appropriate persons. The City Manager may designate a fact-finding committee or an officer not in the normal line of supervision to advise him/her concerning the grievance. 2. The City Manager shall render a decision in writing to the employee within twenty (20) calendar days after receiving the grievance. The decision of the City Manager shall be final.
