The City of Oakland Campaign Reform Act prohibits contractors that are doing business or seeking to do business with the City of Oakland from making campaign contributions to Oakland candidates between commencement of negotiations and either 180 days after completion of, or termination of, contract negotiations. If this Agreement requires Council approval, Contractor must sign and date an Acknowledgment of Campaign Contribution Limits Form attached hereto and incorporated herein as Schedule O.

Further, if this Agreement is subject to the Campaign Reform Act, Contractor must complete and submit Schedule O, Acknowledgment of Campaign Contribution Limits, which shall be attached hereto and incorporated herein.

  • Campaign Contributions / Lobbying Funds provided through a grant award or contract shall not be given or received in exchange for the making of a campaign contribution. No part of the funds provided through this contract shall be used to influence or attempt to influence an officer or employee of any State of Kansas agency or a member of the Legislature regarding any pending legislation or the awarding, extension, continuation, renewal, amendment or modification of any government contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, he shall retain his seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If such an employee returns to the bargaining unit within twelve (12) months, he shall be placed in a job consistent with his seniority. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.
