The City Sewer System Ordinance regulates the use of public and private sewers and drains, private sewage disposal, the installation of and connection of building sewers, the discharge of waters and wastes into the public sewer system, and providing penalties for violations thereof, enabling the City to comply with State and Federal Laws required by the Clean Water Act and amendments. Customers connecting to the City wastewater system are subject to provisions of the Sewer System Ordinance.
