Common use of Civic or Required Duty Clause in Contracts

Civic or Required Duty. A certified employee shall be granted leave with pay, in the event (i) the employee is required to appear in court to answer a jury summons; or (ii) the employee is subpoenaed to appear in court in a civil or criminal proceeding.
