Claim for Additional Cost. Contractor shall file a Claim for additional cost under this section if Contractor believes additional cost is involved for reasons including: (a) District’s written interpretation of the Contract Documents;
Claim for Additional Cost. 4.6.1 If the Contractor makes a Claim for an increase in the Contract Sum, written notice as provided herein shall be given before proceeding to execute the Work. In addition to all other requirements for notice of a Claim, said notice shall detail and itemize the amount of all Claims and shall contain sufficient data to permit evaluation of same by Owner.

Contractor shall file a Claim for additional cost under this section if Contractor believes additional cost is involved for reasons including: (a) City’s written interpretation of the Contract Documents; (b) City’s order to stop Work where Contractor is not at fault; (c) written order for a minor change in Work issued by City’s consultant or representative; (d) failure of payment by City; (e) termination of Contract by City; (f) City’s suspension; or (g) other reasonable grounds.
