CLASSIFICATION AND PREMIUMS. 31.01 An employee shall receive the salary corresponding to his job classification, in accordance with Appendix 1. 31.02 An employee occasionally required by the University to work a full shift in a group whose grade is lower than his own shall be paid at the rate of the higher grade for the work performed. An employee occasionally required by the University to work a full shift in a group whose grade is higher than his own shall be paid at the rate of his current grade for the work performed, except in the event of a layoff procedure under article 10.
