Classroom Assignments. After the principal has designated an area for a grade level or department, seniority within that grade level or department will be considered in making specific room assignments. Other considerations shall include special equipment related to the subject and special needs of students and/or teachers.

Classroom Assignments. Upon the approval of the Vice President for Academic Services, or designee, multiple sections of the same course may be assigned for lecture purposes in the large lecture halls. Unit members teaching these combined sections will receive the same compensation as they would have had the sections been offered in separate classrooms.

Classroom Assignments. 9H01 The College acknowledges that it is useful for the administration to consult with faculty members about the changing of classroom assignments and that this past practice will be continued. Classroom Assignments. Administrators of the secondary schools will schedule the majority of the classroom teachers assigned classes within a building in no more than two (2) teaching stations per day. Specifically excluded from the configuration of two (2) teaching stations are homeroom assignments, study hall stations, tutorial stations, business education stations, science laboratories, computer laboratories, physical education instructional stations, home economics and industrial arts instructional sites and like areas that require the permanent or continued utilization of equipment to maintain the instructional program. An effort will be made to assign secondary itinerant resource personnel or educational program specialists in no more than two (2) teaching stations per building. The rotation of multiple room assignments in excess of two (2) teaching stations per teacher will be rotated on a yearly basis in so far as the development of the building master schedules will permit It is understood and agreed that this Memorandum of Understanding is applicable only for the duration of this Agreement, and is nonprecedential setting on behalf of both the Penn Hills Education Association and the Penn Hills School District.
