CLASSROOM CONTROL. The authority and effectiveness in the classroom shall be primarily the teacher's responsibility. The Board and Administration will give reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. Whenever it appears that a particular pupil requires the attention of special counselors, social workers, alternative education placement, or law enforcement personnel, the teacher shall advise the principal in writing. Having been advised the principal will schedule a building team (teacher, social worker, principal, psychologist, etc.) meeting. The meeting will be held without undue delay.
