Classrooms. The Board shall be responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in each teacher’s classroom.

Classrooms. Use of classrooms must be approved by the teacher responsible for the room. Furniture must be left in order and materials in the room must not be disturbed. In all of the above cases, after permission is granted by the teacher in charge of the room, permission must be granted by the building principal. Classrooms. The District declares its intention to maintain classroom facilities in a clean condition to include: dusting, sweeping of floors, emptying of wastebaskets, vacuuming and washing of chalkboards. It is recognized that conditions beyond the employer's immediate control (e.g., adverse weather, employee absence) may cause occasional delay in the effectuation of this intention. Teachers agree to cooperate in this endeavor, within the scope of their professional duties. Classrooms shall be treated as needed to prevent infestation by vermin.
Classrooms. The Employer shall provide every classroom and unit member work area on Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) property with:
17.11.1 A working telephone, or intercom, or other means of electronic communication with office personnel available to receive calls during the unit member’s work day, and
17.11.2 Peepholes or windows in classroom doors to provide visibility into the hallways or outdoor area.
Classrooms. By May 1, 2014, the University will implement a program to provide information, education, and support for ensuring that EIT used in classrooms (including, but not limited to, clickers, podiums, blogs, and other software) is accessible.
Classrooms a. The Board agrees to make available to all teachers appropriate physical facilities where applicable, such as a desk, a chalkboard/whiteboard and storage space, consistent with the other needs and financial resources of the district.
b. No persons other than school administrative/supervisory personnel shall be authorized to enter a classroom for the purpose of evaluating and/or observing a teacher without the consent of the principal and prior notification has been given to the teacher.
c. Each teacher may, at his/her option, submit to the principal his/her recommended guidelines for persons other than school district employees to visit his/her classroom. If approved by the principal, the teacher's plan shall be implemented.
Classrooms. The University prides itself in providing appropriate teaching facilities and is committed to ensuring that teachers and students benefit from advancements in teaching technology. The University will assign classrooms to courses taught by Contract Academic Instructors on the same basis as full-time employees within the constraints of University infrastructure.
