Classroom Training. (first week) Each day of this week begins with a two hour safety topic (i.e. lock-out tag-out, confined space, hazard communication, etc.) to expose the employees to safety precautions applicable to the process. The remaining time is dedicated to the chemistry and unit operations used for converting grain to ethanol: • xxxx (liquefaction of starch to dextrins) • fermentation (conversion of sugar to ethanol and carbon dioxide) • distillation/evaporation (separation of ethanol from water and corn solids) • centrifugation (concentration of corn solids) • dried distiller’s grain dryer systems.
Classroom Training. Contractor shall prepare and carry out an extensive classroom-training program for sixty (60) Owner designated operations, maintenance and technical personnel at the Liquefaction Facility Site during the construction period. This program shall contain not less than eight (8) full weeks of full-time training. Contractor shall prepare for Owner approval a detailed outline of this training program within twelve (12) months of Notice to Proceed. In addition, Contractor shall provide for training by mutually agreed vendor representatives for Owner designated personnel. Subcontractor vendors to be included, as a minimum, are: ConocoPhillips, BASF, refrigeration compressor vendor, power generation vendor, DCS system vendor, anti-surge controller vendor, safety shutdown systems vendor, and emergency power generator vendor. Trainees must have completed classroom and vendor training, and be ready for field assignment six (6) months prior to RFSU of a New Plant System. For operations and maintenance personnel, training must be completed six (6) months prior to RFSU of a New Plant System. This applies to classroom training, and not to on-the-job training and qualification. Classroom training will be divided into specific subject areas as follows: • Process Description and Operating Principles • Special Equipment and Instrumentation • Plant System Manuals • Standard Operating Procedures • Service Procedures • Abnormal and Emergency Conditions and Troubleshooting • Commissioning and Start-up Contractor shall propose a training program in order to permit Owner operations and maintenance personnel to attend training sessions organized in Subcontractor shops and/or at the Liquefaction Facility Site by Subcontractor representatives for equipment operations and maintenance training sessions organized in Contractor’s facilities (home office and field) for Project operation. Such maintenance training sessions to be available in Subcontractor shops or at the Liquefaction Facility Site shall be fully identified and should include items such as, but not limited to: • Propane and MR compressors and drivers; • BOG compressor; • Air compressor; • Air dryers; • Demin Water; • DCS and control systems; • HVAC; • Gas turbine generator; • Waste Heat Recovery (WHRU); • Heavies Removal unit (HRU); • Main switchgears and motor control centers; • Nitrogen Generation units; • Direct-fired heaters; • Flares and Thermal Oxidizer; • H2S Removal unit; • Effluents treatment; • Amine re-circulation...
Classroom Training. When the Company schedules employees for classroom training it will be done on the appropriate day shift.
Classroom Training. Any training conducted in an institutional setting designed to provide individuals with the technical skills and information required to perform a specific job or group of jobs including the upgrading of basic skills or the delivery of work readiness skills. Also referred to as CFR. It is where regulations applicable to a federal grant programs can be found. Regulations are also published in the Federal Register. A private-for-profit entity. A plan, which identifies and distributes the cost of services provided by support staff and/or departments or functions. It is the means to substantiate and support how the costs of a program are charged to a particular cost category.
Classroom Training. Contractor shall deliver classroom training using the prepared modules and any visual aids necessary. Classroom work will be supplemented by field visits, and field visits, as applicable, shall be subsequently discussed in the classroom. Classroom training shall be completed in time to conduct the field training set forth in Section 3.2.3 below.
Classroom Training. Training in a classroom setting which can include instruction/training for a specific occupation or skills for employment in general such as work behavior, English and basic math instruction. a. Flight Crew Ground Training Course - Provide customized FAA approved operational courses, up to fifteen days in duration, for six of Buyer's Flight Crews. This course shall consist of classroom instruction supplemented by the use of ground training devices. The course objective is to train Buyer's personnel to be proficient to operate the Aircraft systems and to advance to the flight training phase of paragraph A.

Providing support to carry out in classroom vocational/technical and on-the job training activities for Eligible New Employees in Partnering Firms in the form of (a) financial support to Partnering Firms to finance vocational/technical of Eligible New Employees, (b) financial support to Partnering Firms to finance on-the job-training of Eligible New Employees, and (c) payment of employment subsidies to Eligible New Employees to support part of their wages, social security contributions, transportation and limited training stipends.
