First Aid Training. In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.
First Aid Training. 19.4.1 The normal hours of work and overtime provisions will be relaxed to allow for first aid training as provided for in this Clause 19.4.
19.4.2 Employees who have been designated and agreed to serve as Industrial First Aid attendants will have course and material fees paid by the Institute for obtaining, maintaining or upgrading an Industrial First Aid ticket.
19.4.3 Employees will be given leave with pay to attend these courses.
19.4.4 Every effort will be made to enable employees to take the regular course. However, an employee may elect to take the evening or compressed course.
First Aid Training. Each school secretary is expected to administer emergency first aid in the absence of the school nurse. Each secretary who has not qualified in basic first aid to date shall be required to participate in a first aid training program and complete such training program no later than 10 months from the date of his/her appointment or reassignment to the position. Arrangements for offering such training will be made by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Operations. School secretaries shall not be required to dispense medication.
First Aid Training. The Employer shall encourage employees to take first aid courses and, for this purpose, shall assume the cost of first aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

The applicable Joint Work Place Health and Safety Committees shall select employees for first aid training from the list established pursuant to sub- paragraph 15.03(c)(xiv). The selection of employees for first aid training shall comply with all the Corporation’s procedural requirements for first aid training including number of employees and location. Designated employees who possess a St. ▇▇▇▇ Ambulance first aid certificate or any other first aid certificate recognized by the applicable provincial government shall have access to the first aid room and the first aid kits at all times.

First Aid Training. (a) Where, in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation, the Corporation selects an employee to take first-aid training, the Corporation will assume the cost of that training and shall grant to that employee time off without loss of regular pay for the purposes of attending such training.
(b) Attendance at such training after completion of his normal daily shift, shall be compensated for in accordance with Clause 36.02.
First Aid Training. Employees required by the employer to attend a first aid training course shall be granted paid leave during work hours, or time in lieu at the employer's convenience if attending the course outside work hours. Course fees will be paid by the employer.

b) The Employer undertakes that as a minimum, all first-aid kits shall have the same contents as provided for in the Treasury Board Standard, First Aid (PMM Volume 12, TBSTD 3-5), as amended from time to time.
First Aid Training. Employees of the Company who, by mutual agreement, train or retrain for Industrial First Aid Certificates will be compensated in the following manner:
(a) The Company will pay the cost of course tuition and materials required to those Employees who pass the course.
(b) The Company will pay lost time wages to designated First Aid Attendants.
