Common use of Clean Air Clause in Contracts

Clean Air. (1) Contractor shall comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations pursuant to the Clean Air Act, 42 USC 7401 et seq. Contractor shall report each violation to the recipient and understands and agrees that the recipient will, in turn, report each violation as required to FTA and the appropriate EPA Regional Office. (2) Contractor shall include these requirements in each subcontract exceeding $100,000 financed in whole or in part with FTA assistance.

The Contractor shall agrees to report each violation to the recipient Purchaser and understands and agrees that the recipient Purchaser will, in turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to FTA and the appropriate EPA Regional Office. (2) . The Contractor shall also agrees to include these requirements in each subcontract exceeding $100,000 financed in whole or in part with FTA assistanceFederal assistance provided by FTA.
