Cleaning and swabbing. If dirt or other foreign material enters the pipe, it shall be removed, and the interior of the pipe surface swabbed with a 1 to 5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) disinfecting solution. If in the opinion of North Park Water or its designated representative, the foreign material in the pipe will not be removed by preliminary flushing activities, the interior of the pipe shall be cleaned using mechanical means at no additional cost to North Park Water and then swabbed as described above.
