Common use of Cleanup of Project Site Clause in Contracts

Cleanup of Project Site. The Contractor shall keep the premises and surrounding area reasonably free of rubbish , waste materials, or debris caused by operations under the Contract. At completion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove from and about the Project Site, waste materials, rubbish, tools, construction equipment, machinery, and surplus materials to the Owner's satisfaction. Should the Contractor fail to clean up as provided in the Contract Documents, the Owner may do so and the cost charged to the Contractor through a deductive Change Order or Construction Change Directive.
