CLIENT GRIEVANCE POLICY. Adoption STAR, Inc.’s (“Adoption STAR”) goal is to provide exceptional adoption services to our Clients in all that we do, be it placement, education, home study or post placement. It is Adoption STAR’s policy to provide Clients and potential Clients an opportunity to express concerns about services provided or denied them consistent with New York law, Florida law, Ohio law, the Hague Convention and its own exceptional standard of care. Accordingly, this policy is in place to allow a consistent procedure in which collaboration and communication are central. The following steps allow prospective Clients, adoptive parent Clients, adoptees, or someone acting on their behalf to raise concerns about any of the following:
