Plan Implementation In May 2020, the City of Missoula, passed the “Climate Ready Missoula” climate resiliency plan as an Issue Plan of the Our Missoula: City Growth Policy 2035. Climate Smart Missoula, along with the City and Missoula County, co-led the efforts to develop this plan, helped to lead the Steering Committee, co- authored the plan, conducted robust public involvement and outreach, developed the website xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx and more. As Climate Ready Missoula moves into implementation, Climate Smart Missoula will continue to be a lead and key partner. Climate Smart Missoula will support this effort by: • Co-leading Climate Ready Missoula Leadership Team • Facilitating and supporting implementation working groups, with priority leadership roles in these sectors: o wildfire smoke, heat and health(linked to ongoing “Xxxxxx Xxxxx” efforts o the buildings, land use and transportation o agriculture • Jointly developing priority efforts to implement the Climate Ready Missoula Plan • Conducting climate resiliency stakeholder and community engagement, education and outreach • Ensuring that equity and inclusion is centered in all Climate Ready Missoula activities • Assisting in developing and tracking metrics and performance indicators
