Common use of Co-op Student Clause in Contracts

Co-op Student. Is a person who is engaged in a recognized work/study program at a school or university whose course of study requires or permits the student to participate in study related work programs as an integral part of the certificate, diploma, or degree. A Co-op student will be compensated at eighty percent (80%) of the classification for which they are hired. Co-op students pay Union dues but are not entitled to any accrual benefits, pension or medical benefits.
