Notwithstandingthis provision, seniority shall accrue if a nurse's absence is due to disability resulting in benefits or benefits including the period of the disability program covered by Employment Insurance. Notwithstandingthis provision, seniority and service will accrue and the Hospitalwill continue to pay the premiums for benefit plans for nurses for a period of up to seventeen (17) weeks while a nurse is on pregnancy leave under Article and for a period of up to thirty-five (35)weeks while a nurse is on parental leave under Article Seniority and service will accrue for an adoptive parent or a natural father for a period of up to fifty-two (52) weeks while such nurse is on a parental leave under Article NOTE 1: Nurses presently enjoying the accumulation of seniority for greater periods shall continue to receive such seniority benefits while employed by the Hospital.
