Common use of Collective Agreement Administration Clause in Contracts

Collective Agreement Administration. (a) The Employer recognizes the right of the Local Union to elect representatives who shall be responsible for the day to day administration of the Collective Agreement. (b) A Nurse who is so designated by the Local Union shall be allowed a reasonable amount of time, without loss of regular pay or benefits, to attend meetings with the Employer during normal working hours to assist in matters relating to the Agreement. (c) Such a representative must request as soon as possible upon being made aware that their presence is required and obtain permission from the Nurse’s immediate management supervisor prior to leaving and report to the supervisor immediately upon return. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.
